Edo State Wins Cooking Competition As ABU, Zaria Hosts Cultural Carnival

The annual Cultural Carnival of Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria organized by the Student Representative Council (SRC) held on
17th of August at Mamman Kotangora Square, showcase the rich cultural heritage
and diversity of Nigeria from different backgrounds. The colorful event witness
various cultural display to the amazement of the crowd. The three day events which
celebrate Nigeria's diverse culture in unity and harmony also promotes the Nigeria's
tapestry, one of the highlights of the event is the cooking competition which various
delicacies from different tribes and Edo state clinched the prize of the competition
as they cook their famous groundnut soup and pounded yam to the delight of the
audience.


And we came out tops in 2 different categories; Overall Best in Organization & Cultural Cooking Competition. We no dey carry last. Congratulations... 🎉🥂
