Polycystic ovarian syndrome popularly called PCOS is a medical condition that happens to women. Studies have shown that one out of 5 women are suffering from this condition without even knowing.
PCOS occurs when the ovaries develop some abnormal swelling called cysts and because it is multiple hence the word POLY…so polycystic ovaries.
Also studies have shown pcos could be associated with diabetes, obesity mood disease etc. There are four types of pcos which include insulin resistance pcos, adrenal pcos, inflammatory pcos, and post pill pcos.
Although there are no research that has proven for a cure but pcos could be managed and understanding your type of pcos is the ultimate starting point to catapult how you can manage it, this could be by loosing weight or working with your nutritionist (dieting) and regularly seeing your doctor (gynecologist) for medical advice.
