Arsenal will be back in the Champions League  for the first time in six years. The Gunners were once a constant fixture in Europe’s elite competition before a steady slump over the past decade.
The north Londoners had a massive performance in the premier league in the 2022/2023 season where they were on the verge of winning the league until they were beaten to it by Manchester city.

In a recent interview with the Gunners boss Mikel arteta he expressed his delight about arsenal finally returning to the league. for him he feels it was a moment the club has worked tirelessly for. He discused about the overall fitness of the arsenal team who would face PSV in their first champions league match. Arteta feels PSV are a strong opponent who are not to be underrated.

Mikel arteta praises his young captain "odegard" as he feels he has been very important to the growth of the squad. The gunner's coach had few things to talk about eleny's fitness and gave assurance of the midfielder returning fully to the squad very soon. Arteta feels arsenal will have to show a lot of strength in their first champions league game on the 20th of September as PSV is a team who has been quite consistent in the champions league.
