Dr. Jamila Dahiru is renominated as commissioner of education.

The previous commissioner of education in Bauchi state is re-nominated as the new commissioner of education in Bauchi state. The appointment of Dr. Jamila Dahiru, a former lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, ABU, Zaria is under the administration of his excellency senetor Bala A. Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi state. 

Her name is among the twenty three names submitted to the state house of assembly for screening and confirmation for appointment as commissioners.

The commissioner is an educationist who played an important in rule in empowering pupils and students in Bauchi state. The leadership newspapers on the 28 of July, 2023, stated that " Throughout her career, she has championed the cause of empowering young girls and women through improved educational opportunities and access to information".

Mass Communication Sets 2021/2022 Finally Graduates from ABU!

After an additional 2 years to their normal 4 years course, finally comes to an end.  The students could not hide their emotions after so much delay in their seek for knowledge within ABU as they wrote their final papers as an undergraduate students on the 18th of September, 2023. This is a significant accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated.
