ABU Zaria Warns Against Signing-Out Celebration Among Graduating Students

In a bid to restore sanity into the school environment, the management of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria has reiterated its ban on the "signing-out" ceremonies among graduating students and urged them to desist from unauthorized celebrations within the school campus. This is contained in a special bulletin released in 3rd August, 2023 and signed by the university's management. Part of the statement read " prohibition on signing-out and unauthorized celebrations on campus". The special bulletin also stated that students are required to comply with the rules and regulations that guide their stay on campus and warn that the school management will longer condone any unauthorized celebrations within the school.
This
is coming on heels of the end of the academic session in which graduating
students usually engaged in writing on their clothes to commemorized the end of
their academic struggles in the school. It could be recalled that the school
management initially put it a stop to this symbolic celebrations on the 7th October,
2021 and since then the school management has never shifted their ground on the
issues of signing out or any other unauthorized celebrations.
