Asisat Oshoala emerges the first African player to score in three Women's World Cup.

Super falcon's player Asisat Oshoala has written her name in the book of records, as she emerges as the first african footballer to score in three Women's World Cup. Scoring the winning goal against the host nation in the 2023 Women's World Cup held in Australia, thereby, sending Nigeria to the top of group B. The Barcelona forward has scored in three consecutive women's world cups scoring against Sweden in 2015, against south Korea in 2019 and now against Australia in 2023.
