AJimobi, two Professors appointed as aides.

The Deputy Senate President Senator Jibrin Barau, has approved the  appointment of Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi as his Chief of Staff, Professor  Bashir Muhammad Fagge, Special Adviser Policy and Monitoring,  while Ismail Mudashir is the Special Adviser Media and Publicity.

This came through a statement  from the media office of the deputy senate president which also stated that Senator Barau also  appointed Idris Abiola Ajimobi, a son to the former Oyo state governor and husband  to Fatima Umar Ganduje. Mr. Ajimobi was appointed as Special Adviser Special Duties, followed Yusuf Aliyu Tumfafi as Special Adviser Politicsl ,Mrs. Ngozi Ndawi Nkemdirim Special Adviser Administration and Shitu Madaki Kunchi, as Special Assistant Media and Publicity.

Prof Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi, born in Faruruwa, Shanono LGA, Kano State, was until this appointment, the Head of Department, Education, School of Continuing Education of Bayero University Kano (BUK). 

Professor Bashir Muhammad Fagge Hails from Fagge local government area of Kano. He attended Usman Danfodio University and Abubakar Tabalewa University for his undergraduate and  postgraduate studies respectively and he is a professor of Animal science in Bayero University Kano. 

Mudashir, who hails from Kwara State, was born in Zamfara State. Until this appointment, he was the Deputy General Editor of the Daily Trust Newspapers. 

Meanwhile, Idris Abiola Ajimobi hails from Oyo and Mrs.Ngozi Ndawi hails from Imo. Mrs. Ngozi Ndawi  has been working in the red chamber national Assembly as a Director Journals and  procedures until her appointment by the Deputy Senate President.
